Posted November 21, 2008 at 9:45 amI’m thinking there will be at least 16 parts today. Also, for those who usually don’t check out the chat, maybe today will be a good day for it since UCLA tips off hoops at 2 p.m. (L.A. time) against…

Posted November 13, 2008 at 5:00 amFor the first time since Washington State game, Bruins are heading into a game as favorites but don’t be fooled. The Huskies might be winless and are at the rock bottom point in their program’s history, but they are perfectly capable of pulling of a season making win this Saturday. Nathan Ware from DawgBlawg (Seattlepi.com) provides what I think are pretty good reasons …

Posted November 6, 2008 at 5:00 amLet’s continue with our notes on Oregon State. Here is the latest re. the QB situation in Corvallis:
Beavers quarterback Lyle Moevao, who injured his right throwing shoulder against Arizona State, didn’t practice Wednesday and told The Oregonian that he didn’t expect to start Saturday.
Sean Canfield, a lefthander, led Oregon State to a come-from-behind 27-25 win against ASU and will likely start Saturday.

Posted November 1, 2008 at 10:52 pmI caught a segment on Freshman wide receiver Taylor Embree while channel-surfing during this bye week. Videos after the flip.
I did not know that Embree was not recruited by anyone but UCLA (have to give props to KD on this one) or that he was an 0.5 star prospect.
Rivals didn’t even bother giving him any stars, while Scout at least gave the dude 1 …

“We’re not right now currently involved in the Pacific 10 title race, so this is an opportunity to get some valuable experience for our young players,” Coach Rick Neuheisel said.We knew this season was going to be tough. However, the coaching staff is building a foundation with the youth of this team. Kurt Streeter remarks on the how well …

What To Think: Cal Postgame Thread (Bruins Nation)
Posted October 25, 2008 at 4:49 pmNot for the first time this season, I truly don’t know what to think about this particular team. I know that I like the direction of the program, but the day to day (or even play to play and drive to drive) mood swings are simply confusing. Prior to the game, the final score (41-20 Cal, Box Score Here) might not have sounded all that …

Posted October 25, 2008 at 11:20 amI was just told reserve receiver Ryan Graves is not here. He has been dealing with a strained hamstring. While it may not seem significant, Graves is UCLA’s backup punt and kick returner. So, if anything happens to Terrence Austin,…

Posted October 19, 2008 at 10:21 amBefore getting into some of my specific impressions from yesterday’s thrilling win let’s quickly reset the big picture here a bit. We now have a record of 3-4 with a conference record of 2-2. Looking back at last 7 games, the loss that really hurts right now is the one against Fresno State. Given what we have no seen from Kevin Craft (more on him …
